Makna Kata Kerja Check dalam Bahasa Inggris dan Penggunaannya

Kata check dalam bahasa Inggris identik dengan makna “memeriksa” atau “menginspeksi,” tetapi juga memiliki makna lain seperti “menghentikan secara mendadak,” “retak/terbelah dalam retakan kecil,” serta “menandai.” Kata ini bisa digunakan dengan atau tanpa obyek. Kata check juga merupakan kata kerja bentuk beraturan (regular verb), karena kita tinggal menambahkan akhiran –ed untuk mendapat bentuk kedua dan ketiga, yaitu checked.
